Sparken Hill Academy in Worksop successfully implemented an advanced lighting control solution with the truSmart system. The project centred on installing high-performance Sierra battens integrated directly with truSmart sensors. To ensure comprehensive coverage, standalone truSmart sensors were strategically deployed and connected to the existing downlights, creating a unified control network across the classrooms. A core benefit for the academy is the installation of intuitive smart switches, which allow teaching staff to instantly launch pre-configured lighting scenes (scenarios). This capability ensures the lighting environment can be quickly and effectively tailored to support diverse educational activities, from presentations to quiet study, optimising concentration and energy management.
