Lumineux recently supported the delivery of a lighting solution for a new Weekend Offender retail store in Sheffield, working alongside 3E – Energeia Electrical Engineering Limited.
The brief was to create a flexible, high-impact lighting scheme capable of enhancing product displays while maintaining a clean, modern retail environment.
Using the Belvide track lighting system, the installation was designed to provide precise, adjustable accent lighting throughout the store. The Belvide spotlights offer selectable colour temperatures, multiple wattage options, and interchangeable beam angles, allowing the lighting scheme to be tailored to highlight key merchandise and adapt to changing layouts.
With a low-glare optical design, the system ensures comfortable illumination for customers while maintaining strong visual focus on featured products. The flexibility of the track system also allows for easy repositioning, supporting the dynamic nature of retail environments.
In back-of-house areas, a combination of bulkheads and battens was installed to provide reliable, practical lighting for staff areas and operational spaces.
The result is a clean, adaptable lighting solution that enhances the retail experience while delivering the flexibility required for ongoing store changes.
This project demonstrates Lumineux’s ability to deliver effective, visually focused lighting schemes for retail environments, combining performance, flexibility, and ease of installation.
