Lumineux is supporting the delivery of a high-performance lighting solution for Technicut, working in partnership with Parr Electrical on a new aerospace manufacturing facility.
With exceptionally high standards required across the site, the lighting design was developed to achieve a minimum of 1000 lux throughout the workspace. This ensures optimal visibility and precision for detailed manufacturing processes while maintaining consistency across all operational areas.
The installation is centred around Meadley high-bay luminaires, delivering powerful and efficient illumination suited to large-scale industrial environments. Emergency lighting is provided via Plug & Play emergency packs, simplifying installation while ensuring full compliance.
To support intelligent control, truSmart Zhaga PIR sensors have been integrated across the scheme. This enables automated adjustment based on occupancy, improving energy efficiency without compromising required light levels.
The facility has been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating skylights and solar generation to maximise natural daylight and reduce overall energy demand. As the project progresses, final commissioning will include light level calibration, ensuring the system dynamically responds to available daylight while consistently maintaining the specified lux levels.
With the first phase of commissioning now complete, this project demonstrates Lumineux’s capability to deliver high-performance lighting solutions for specialist environments where precision, efficiency, and reliability are critical.
