Controls and emergency

Sensors, emergency and wireless control

Alwen Plug & Play Zhaga PIR sensor
Plug & Play sensors

PIR and microwave sensors fit to the high bay on site, so presence detection can be added to an aisle without rewiring.

Grafham Plug & Play emergency conversion pack
Plug & Play emergency packs

Emergency conversion packs clip in, so the same fitting covers standard and emergency positions.

Wireless control and testing

LumiSmart for daylight harvesting and presence control by zone. LumiWave for wireless emergency testing with an automatic logbook.

Questions

Warehouse lighting questions

How many lux does a warehouse need?

It depends on the task. Typical maintained levels are 150 lx in manned racking aisles, 100 to 200 lx for bulk storage and 300 lx for picking and packing. The design team works to BS EN 12464-1 and confirms the levels for your building in the free design.

Which high bay suits narrow racking aisles?

A linear high bay such as Netherton Plus or Belmont, with the optic running along the aisle. It puts the light onto the rack faces and the floor rather than the top of the racking.

Can sensors and emergency be added later?

On Plug & Play ranges the sensor and the emergency pack fit to the luminaire on site, so a fitting can be upgraded without rewiring.

How do I get a price?

Send your project to our sales office or call 01507 328031. We quote it and arrange supply through a wholesaler. Trade customers with an account can order on Lumineux Online.
